Muslims what do you of freemason Shriners taking an oath by placing their hands on the Quran?
I haven't heard anything about that. My great-grandfather was a Shriner and he NEVER took oaths by placing his hand on a holy book. Or swore on one. Even if he did not believe in that faith, he respected them enough not to do so. And he had Muslim friends. One thing I don't understand is why many of my fellow Muslim brothers and sisters think Masons are out to destroy Islam. I've had Masons in my family back and back and back. Back to the first generation. And my grandfather was proud of us for finding Islam. He actually said that the way Islam is done is more similar to how Masons work than Christianity even. He said he saw the logic in us becoming Muslim. SO- take that Mason-paranoids!
